I haven't had a friend since early 2010s but I like to believe it depends on the person's personality really (if they're willing to chat or hang out/stick around if it's irl connection), even among neets I don't find myself having much in common with them and talking about neetdom/depression is just repetitive it's not a real thing to bond about, makes me feel like we're sad venting buddies sometimes.
