here's my analysis on this thing

1- this thing is very recent and started few years back only through whatsapp groups

2- people behaving this way really lack the capacity to think critically and logically.

3- some whatsapp forward comes or some politicians tells them what to say/what to do and they start doing it blindly.

4- in general people have the tendency to use shortened names. so people tend call shivaji maharaj instead of longer version chatrapati Shivaji maharaj.

5- such chapri people outnumber normal people hence out of fear everyone else has to do what they want
