First check if you’re buying it on contract, if not and you’re buying it outright ensure it’s carrier unlocked cause I had Verizon iPhones which I bought outright that had a 90 day carrier lock.

I would say buy from New Hampshire if possible cause literally zero sales tax and it’s much cheaper. Also yea Amazon price varies state to state, I just hate Amazon US since they have recently started messing up most of their orders. Also Amazon US has a lot of third party sellers on here, where used phones, also repaired with third party part iPhones are sold as new. Atleast this has been common to NYC. If I had the choice, I would just pay Apple the 100$ premium and buy it from the Apple Store.

Also before buying an iPhone just make sure you have apple care or you can outright repair it cause remember in India it’s gonna cost a lot more than 300$ to repair the screen. And more than 100$ for a battery repair.
