PPFAS flexicap usually lags during bull run and performs better during bear.

Main issue with PPFAS flexicap is their huge AUM due to which they would no longer be able to invest in small caps and smaller midcaps. Even midcap companies would be a bit difficult for them to have a good allocation to.

Once small and midcap becomes attractive post the current correction, they still won’t be able to have meaningful positions in those companies. Small and midcap provide better growth opportunities. I think it’ll behave like a pseudo large cap fund. Something to think about.

If you want a genuine flexicap fund, check others too which have more reasonable amount of AUM which offers them flexibility to invest and diversify across market caps
