I get my bikes’s chain cleaned when I think ‘bohot din ho gaye hain’ and lube it when I feel my gear shifts are not smooth which could be months. I may get bashed for this but reading here that cleaning every week etc is overkill for a bike primarily being used as commuter. If you are doing long drives, it makes sense to keep the chain cleaned and lubed.
