So, I am holding 280 shares at 920 average. I was new last year and bought in to the social media hype and it forms around 20 percent of my portfolio.

Right now, I am down 28%. The advice I got was to sell and cut my losses when it was -15%. But, I thought maybe it will rise up a little bit and I will sell it.

The immediate future is looking bleak for it. It might make a come back but it will take a long time. The decision you need to make is whether its worth holding it for 3 to 4 years to make it back to 800 and more levels or you might as well take the loss and the money invested in better potential prospects that will cover your losses.

I did not average down my stocks as I realised that it isnt a good stock and it doesnt make good sense to invest in it.

Han to new lelo 👍🏻 but be. Aware the waiting period will be 3+ months and booking amount of new trident is 50k which is non refundable... So in 3 months you change your mind... You can't get 50k back.

You haven’t mentioned your time horizon. I am assuming you want to invest for the long term (15+ years). Just pick a good flexi cap fund and put entire 5K into it. Don’t over diversify between Large, Mid, Small caps. Let the fund manager handle that.
