Non Telugus settled in Vizag. Being a cosmopolitan city with good number og industries, Vizag always had a fair number of non Telugus settled here. In fact some of them have assimilated so well, you can't differentiate them from Telugus. Odiyas- One of the largest groups, most of them are in Steel Plant, Railways. Also being part of princely Jeypore state, Vizag always had a significant Odiya presence. There are also Telugu Patnaiks, Patros, Mishras mostly Odiyas settled here since long.
