A question for And from foreign perspective.... Let's say a certain individual from a foreign land with his/her own traditions accepts dharma and starts following Hinduism. The words and scriptures can be translated with ease to his/her language. While everyone would also agree that sanskrit learning could help not just him but all of us. Though I am confused about cultural practices. A lot of our practices are derivative of sect difference, culture and regional mythology and folklore ...which causes groups to have their own unique identity.
