Best strategy

I was wondering lately, what would be best strategy to position certain site. Let's say we have e-commerce website with lots of products (about 20k). Apart from products landing pages there are some blog-ish pages but that's it - no other engaging content. Would good strategy be focusing on those pages, and making sure that category texts and meta are up to date and filled with good keywords, leaving products as they are? Keen to know your thoughts about how you would tackle this.

launch fast vs launch well

I have been wrestling with this problem for a while - very much still unresolved, but here is my current thinking. I have now launched 4 different products. Took me anywhere from 3 months to 4 hours. ShowIt - Non editable Robots.txt file?

Title pretty much sums it up, client is using ShowIt (with Wordpress integrated) and not only can we not edit whether a trailing slash is used or not (so WP blog was originally different to the main site, causing redirects everywhere) but we also can't edit the Robots.txt file, which means we can't disallow any tags, wp-admin files etc. Anyone any experience of this? Seems like a massive oversight. (And just another reason why I hate these overpriced drag and drop platforms)

I would like to contribute a certain percentage around 5k-7k for charity purpose. This could be sponsoring a child for their education, providing food to an orphanage or something like that.
