Chrome has become an absolute pig

I've got a 2021 M1 MacBook Air. Have loved it since I got it. I use it for the usual stuff plus serious software dev (Scala, Rust). It's a powerful machine. In the last month or so Chrome has become almost unusable. I am not one of those \~100 tabs open people - more like 30-40 at the most. So lately when I open a new tab from any number of sites Chrome freezes for five, 10, even 20 seconds. It's unreal. I've done the usual cache purging. Did...

    REMOTE Freelance Writer ($15-$30 USD/hr)

Recently, I’ve been working as a remote freelance writer, helping train AI chatbots like ChatGPT to create more natural, humanlike responses. There are plenty of openings with the company, and while I personally recommend the freelance writer role mentioned in the title, the fact-checker positions are also a great option to consider! The job itself is incredibly simple, requires no prior experience, and offers completely flexible hours—all while boasting impressive earning potential. I know it might sound too good to be true (trust me, I was skeptical at first),...

Please help me buy Ice cubes in Madurai

Hi, i'm travelling through Madurai soon, and i need to keep some things cool on the journey. I was hoping someone could tell me where i can find edible ice cubes. Seems silly to ask, but supermarkets are a hit or miss, and i wouldn't have time to hunt around. If anyone knows with confirmation where i can find some ice cubes please post. I will probably be near Kodikulam, KK Nagar, Vandiyur lake area, or Kulamangalam. But any place within reasonable distance is fine. Thanks.

North Indian moving to Tamil Nadu cant decide between Tirupur and Coimbatore.

Hey guys :) I'll be moving to TN in less than two months from the Middle East with my wife and new born. I'm originally North Indian though. I'm really excited but I've never lived in these two cities specificly before. I've only spent a couple of years in Ooty and a few months in Chennai for University. I'm happy to learn Tamil but understandably i don't know enough to even strike a simple conversation for now is English widely understood in Tirupur as it is in Chennai and...

May be entire Tolly 🤡s deserve to be treated this way. Especially given how then took Jagan's respect for granted.

India is a garbage dump because courts are dysfunctional

Lately Indians are waking up to the fact that we live in a garbage dump and we don't have basic human needs. Specially those who have visited anywhere outside India. AQI is horrible. Water is polluted. Roads are filthy. There is dust everywhere. Open and Blocked drainages. Smells shit. People keep on complaining that Indians lack civics sense. Is fixing above problems people's job or its the job of the people who get our tax money? Now, let's not fool ourselves. If there is no legal accountability why would...

    Dero Trades dc group legit?

Hey guys, I'm completely new to trading and I stumbled upon this guy on YouTube. I don't know why, but he seems kinda legit to me (i just don't know why). He's not selling any course but his dc group is 100$ a month. Is it worth trying? If someone could check him out would be wonderful, thanks in advance.

    DGCA Class1 help needed

Hey guys I’m a CPL holder from Canada planning to convert to DGCA and I’ve heard that Class1 medical is pretty strict and done in an IAF base. I’ve also seen a lot of people stressing out over it. Overall how hard is it and do I have to be extremely fit from head to toe? Any inputs or suggestions are highly appreciated

What Does Respect for Women Look Like in Everyday Conversations

Today, after my routine badminton session with my partners, we were heading home when one of them, a 24-year-old, mentioned he wouldn't be joining tomorrow because his wife was going out, and he needed to look after their newborn. Another partner jokingly suggested that he should call his sister-in-law over—first to entertain the child and then, at night, to "not feel his wife's absence." Shockingly, the first partner responded with pride, claiming he had already been intimate with his sister-in-law. Their conversation quickly devolved into a display of vulgar...
