We Indians really lack civic sense and it’s infuriating Not that it’s that big a deal but this woman’s behaviour made me really mad while I was travelling by bus today. I had literally had snacks and put the wrappers in my bag, this woman beside me sees me doing so and chooses to throw a bunch of wrappers outside the window, as if that wasn’t enough while doing so he hits me on the face ( of course unintentionally) and doesn’t even have the decency to say sorry. I didn’t want to start a fight because I... 2 8 replies
Is it a major concern? Hyundai Creta a year old and Lot of rusting near the brakes on all four wheels and when I asked the Hyundai service personnel he told it's normal and not to worry, but my wheel balancing guy told me it wears down the break pads sooner than usual and it's just company trying to push the invoice bill for the next service. He advised me to get the brakes painted which makes the overall aesthetics look better and prevents the break pads from wearing out. Do let me know... 2 6 replies

How about a flat 10% income tax ? Why not a flat 10% income tax. Everyone pay 10% of their income per year as income tax whether it's 1L or 1 crore per year or whatever. Be it an individual or corporate. Also keep GST at a flat 10%. If everyone chips in 10% it would be more than enough to run this country. Less than 6% of the population actually pays income tax so it's better if everyone (100%) pays 10%. Also reduce all other taxes to just a flat 10%. The problem a large portion... 2 4 replies

Got to witness a little bit of how the Top 1 percent lives in Delhi. Last night I went to a Birthday party of my Dad's business partner and that experience was out of this world. We went to a farm in Chhatarpur, very exclusive place, heavily guarded and every guard was checking our invitation the moment we entered that area, noted down our number and name along with our car's number to ensure nobody who's unwanted there enters. Reached the farmhouse they own, beautiful and such a huge property. Saw the cars parked outside the farmhouse and there was rarely any car that... 1 7 replies
What are some fun social activities to do in Hyderabad? To be honest I don't find Hyderabad to be a "happening place" and I have to search a lot for social events in the city. I have tried activities such as gym and dance but all these are regular, long-term activities and there are not much activities/meet ups/events for the short term or as a "one-time thing". I would prefer to take part in activities where I can socialize with people and where I don't have to spend a bomb (if I choose one gym session instead of full... 4 2 replies

I have around 250$ in XRP and I'm wondering if I should put them in BTC Not much to say here. I invested some money in XRP earlier this year, got a small profit and now I'm wondering if I should invest it all in BTC now that it's still below 100k. I'm still new to all this and to be honest I just got kind of lucky that i invested early in XRP and almost doubled my money, but now as I researched a bit more into it, investing in BTC seems like a good idea for long term holding. I'm also planning to... 5 6 replies

Do big institutions make candlestick patterns to trap retail investors? I feel this many times, especially while seeing stock recommendations from firms like Motilal Oswal or ICICI Securities. Like recently, they entered Cipla at ₹1529, and then it fell to ₹1450 levels, they suddenly gave buy recommendation. It looks like these patterns are made to tempt retail investors to enter, especially when DIIs are sitting on losses because their moves went wrong. Are retail traders being fooled into predictable entries and exits so big players can recover their losses? What you all think? 2 2 replies
