I made a trip to Mumbai this year March. Boy there’s something special about this city yaar!

This was my first time going there. I was travelling alone too, visiting my sister. Luckily I got an whole day, yes one whole day to explore the city alone and it was the best. The energy, the non stop ticking, I felt something new there. A new sense of freedom and independence. Maybe sounds too filmy, but for the first time, I felt the song Ilahi run in my head for the whole day. Everyone there was a stranger to me, yet it felt like I knew all...

The new MICA legislation on crypto market and travel rule.

Hey everyone, this is mostly a post concerning EU crypto users. I received an email about the new MiCA bill and the travel rule in the EU, and it’s concerning, especially for someone like me who uses DeFi. The travel rule requires that more transaction tracking be allowed. Yes, this perhaps can prevent fraud, but it's also a strong hit against privacy. Another thing I’m wondering is how we’re supposed to buy and sell when most crypto trading pairs are in USD. Will this create new barriers for EU...

Magnus Carlsen vs. Vantika Agrawal - Where actually did FIDE's went unjust?

Controversy in Uzbekistan about Vantika Agrawal’s draw turned to loss because of the arbiter’s fault and bizarre FIDE rule, but no one raised the concern or spoke about it in r/chess or any other forum. Whereas, Magnus Carles broke the already predefined pity rule of FIDE and everyone wants to go gaga about it. Why such discriminatory behavior? FIDE did not mistreat him by singling him out. The rule is the same for everyone. He should treat the fraternity with respect and not look down on them. He’s not...

Week #7: What's been your biggest win this week? 🙂

Could be personal, professional, or anything in between. As always, me first - I had quite an eventful week with moving back to Goa! 🙂 The biggest win for me was driving an Activa on the streets after 11 years! I thought I would've forgotten how to drive a two-wheeler, but turns out it took me only a few minutes to get my muscle memory back. And now, it's almost second nature. I think of all the times I didn't attempt things because I "lost touch". Sigh! I should...
