    life

As 2024 comes to an end, I’m beginning to see people for who they really are. Those friends I’ve had for 7–8 years now seem to see me as unimportant. Their behavior has changed in strange ways. Even the person who once meant the most to me is now acting like everyone else. Over time, they all turn into strangers, leaving me confused, wondering what went wrong. The truth is, I’ve been left behind, and there’s nothing I can do about it. What’s done is done. People have moved...

    Renting a heater in Gurgaon?

So I moved to Gurgaon about 7 months ago and have never experienced a proper winter before. I’ve only ever lived in hot places, so its safe to say that I’m not at all used to the cold. Everyone’s also saying “bhai ye to kuch bhi nhi h, Jan/Feb tak wait kro” which is scaring the shit out of me, cuz I’m alrdy feeling cold enough. Might move out of Gurgaon after Feb, so not too sure if I want to invest in a heavy duty blanket or a...

Is Punjabi culture the most mainstream representation of Desi culture in the west?

From I've seen most of what the average uninformed typical uneducated shallow westerners thinks of as traditional Indian Desi culture is more North Indian Punjabi culture. This is because many of the first Indian Desi migrants to the West were from Punjab and many of them introduced their cooking to the West. Since most of the early Indian migrants to America and the U.K. were Punjabi they introduced their cuisine modified for western tastes to Westerners. That why most whites I've seen when they think of Indian food they...

YSRCP secured 19 seats in parliament results assembly wise

Just went through this map of parliament results assembly wise. Key things I noticed: - in punganur, PEDDIREDDI RAMACHANDRA REDDY got 6095 majority , but the same people gave 21299 votes majority for MIDHUN REDDY - in kadapa, Clearly YS Sharmila helped avinash reddy win😂. 5 out of 7 assembly seats polled gave majority for TDP against avinash , but to defend the majority of YCP from pulivendula and badvel, Sharmila killed the margin votes ( mainly in kadapa and kamalapuram). - Tirupati parliament is totally a lol. All...

Terrible experience at a comedy show in Sion

Went to a Samay Raina show earlier tonight (Sunday evening) and my god was the experience borderline terrible! First off the seats were insanely uncomfortable, secondly the prices were insanely high. I took the cheapest tickets and they were 1.2k including taxes, per seat! On top of that He even called us "gareeb" as a punchline to one of the audience members interruptions! Never going to his gigs anymore for sure. After leaving the venue it was complete pandemonium. No cab was available on uber, ola, rapido, even local...

Ideas 10¢=12. How do I keep from getting burnt.

I ideas for businesses, products, etc. all the time, but I never pull the trigger on any of them. Ideas are cheap, & I've never had the money for anything more. Right now I've Got an idea for a AI program, I know what I want it to do, but no idea how to get it to work. I tried using ChatGpt to build it for me, but it didn't produce a useable product. I don't know anything about AI or programing ETC. How do I go about having...
