If you're going to the avrebele mela, I would recommend avoiding the paddu

No wonder India's name is notorious for unhygienic food. I went to the avrebele mela yesterday and while waiting in line to buy the bhel puri (which was also mixed by using bare hands), this is what i see. I want to support local vendors, but not at the cost of my health How hard is it to use a big spatula instead of your whole fucking hand. And the food there isn't cheap also, they are charging a premium. I hope this reaches the concerned authorities and they...

"Seeking Help: Can Anyone Traveling Back from the US Bring a Pre-Purchased Item?

Hi everyone, I hope you’re doing well! I have a small request and would really appreciate your help. A friend of mine recently purchased a pair of shoes in the U.S., and we’re looking for someone who might be traveling back soon and could bring them along. The shoes are already paid for, and I’d be happy to arrange everything to make it as convenient as possible for you—whether it’s picking them up or coordinating the drop-off. If you’re able to help or know someone who might be, please...

From pond to the pool lifestyle upgrade.

What are the things you upgraded when you moved from middle class to rich class (say 50lpa+)? There will be obvious purchases like bigger house or luxury car, interior and the like. But what are low ticket items that worth the money but feel daunting on middle class salary even though you could theoretically afford them once in blue moon. Imported/premium food items, expensive skincare as staples come to my mind, what are others? Feel free to drop specific product names too.

    Car windscreen wiper fluid recommendations

Never use tap water to fill your washer fluid reservoir. Don't use local distilled water either. I had posted about spurious local DW a few months ago. I've seen some people using vim gel or shampoo. Don't do that either. Use washer fluid tablets or liquid.

what to do on new year’s eve in kochi if not partying?

it is a rather broke new year so we can’t afford to pay the cover charges anywhere, if you know any free parties for couples/ladies drop them below. i also dont want to get caught up in the crowds at fort kochi so please suggest something else other than that option.
