Fun question - why are foreigners/foreign passport holders offered sofas at the Kochi airport immigration counter? The last time I took an international flight into Kochi was last August. So idk if this has changed now. But I’ve always wondered about this. Indian passport holders stand in a normal queue like you would see anywhere. But the counters reserved for foreigners or rather foreign passport holders had these amazing sofas in front of it.
