Would accidentally hitting the escape button during external HD to HD file transfer matter? Quick dumb question: I am on a macbook air and I had two external harddrives plugged in, transferring the contents of one harddrive to the other. since it's 2TB and I have no way to plug in the macbook, I dim the display all the way down to save battery as the transfer takes several hours. Would I get security updates after 7 years? I have a 2018 Macbook. I understand that this will be the last year that I will be getting an update (7 years). What happens next though?
