Won't running lots of utility apps slow down the computer?

I usually like to keep my OS light and without unnecessary apps running in the background (old habit coming from when I used to have a memory-challenged PC as a kid). I switched over to mac a couple months ago and found lots of useful utility apps (e.g., alt-tab, rectangle, alfred) and know that there are lots more apps out there. I'd like to download and try other apps but am worried that having a lot of these running will bog down the computer. In fact, I see Youtubers...

Internal panel protection from Hyundai

Just sent my 2022 i20 for its annual service and the service manager was trying to ask me to do “Internal Panel Protection”. Was very sweet talking and everything so I told yes and asked to send a cost estimate. On the estimate he sent, it costed like 3.5k after taxes, so I asked for more information and he was like this is needed for “lubrication of suspension” and stuff like that. Felt like he was bullshitting. I told him it’s not needed and asked him to remove it....

Abhira doing LLM ( Yrkkh)

So Abhira joined law college mid term to do LLM that too wo giving any entrance exam which is basic req to get into LLM in most decent public or pvt colleges. Also her admission was so swift n instant even quicker than maggie noodles lol ....like the writers of this show dont have the word journey in their books. First court was used from trip fall catch bump romance now college will be used and I am pretty sure if trps go down abhira wont even complete her...

Why so many political posts here?

It's been weeks since election. I recall there was a directive that political posts are not allowed, but it was paused during election time. Is it still paused? Almost 60%+ posts are political - and some are even cross posts from r/MaharashtraPolitics

Checkin and Security lines for the domestic T1 airport

Hi guys, I'm flying out tomorrow from the T1 airport, just wanted to understand if there is an increased rush for check-in and security check lines right now?. Usually reaching 90mins before the departure time works fine for domestic but I'm not sure of the holiday rush. Do let me know if anyone of you guys flew out of there recently
