Looking for stay-at-home helper for 2 elderly folks... Hi, I am looking for a stay-at-home helper for my elderly parents. Main task would involve - cooking 3 meals a day for them. We had one, unfortunately she left, and now I am looking for a replacement. Tried the traditional route - asking around in the network, but no success yet. Asking the kind and resourceful folks here to help with any leads or info they might have. Thanks in advance! 5 2 replies

Browser that supports transparency? Is there a browser out there that supports full windows transparency (and not just theming of sidebars & address bars)? [disable System Integrity Protection](https://github.com/koekeishiya/yabai/wiki/Disabling-System-Integrity-Protection) in order for yabai to modify files of Dock.app. I just want transparency plus I know it's not a great idea to disable SIP and let apps act as root and muck with protected directories and... 1 0 replies
Why do I still feel like an outsider here? I've lived in Kochi for practically my entire life. Spent the most important formative years of it here. Inspite of that, for some reason I have not been able to grow any real appreciation for Mallu culture or tradition. And I feel really awful about it. I have never been interested in Malayalam movies, music, media in general. I have no interest in Kerala festivals, no fondness for mallu food as such. But I think worst of all, I've started to despise the people here too, unfairly too perhaps.... 3 0 replies
