Sonoma - files getting corrupted in finder? Since I updated to Sonoma from Monterey, my mac hard drive/icloud drive have been having issues with corrupted files. Most of my files were invisible, so I was having to put them into folders and then move them out of folders to get them to show up again. Also, finder wouldn't let me delete any folders at all, saying that there were items that couldn't be found (error code -43), but if I went into those folders, I could delete all the files separately, it just wouldn't let me... 3 0 replies
MBA M1 to Mac Mini M4 I just wanted to ask if I migrate my apps and files from my MBAM1 to a Mac Mini M4, will my Chrome profiles also migrate seamlessly? Specifically, will I stay logged in to the accounts, as if nothing has changed, or will it reset like a fresh Chrome installation? P.S. Updating OS after a Time Machine recovery I’m wondering if anyone can help me please. I’ve had to recover my iMac (2017) from a rather old Time Machine back up, so I currently have OS 10.13 (High Sierra) on it. I’m having to create a bootable USB so I can update to a much newer OS. But the bit I’m after some advice on is this. Can I jump straight to macOS 13 (Ventura) or do I have to install each of the other 4 systems in turn between 10.13 and 13 first? Using Phone while driving Hi all, Everyday I encounter at least 2 to 3 driving using their phone while driving/riding. The issue is they are completely unaware of the surrounding and drive very slow occupying the middle part of the road and wobbling around, we have to keep guessing which way they will move. Next time I see this, I am going to take a picture of that vehicle number plate and tag it with traffic police. People are taking this lightly and doing this circus in roads sometimes they are having kids... 2 6 replies
