How to market a language school?

Hey everyone, I have an idea of starting an online Swahili language school, with the intention of having an office space for offline classes once things get rolling. I’ve thought about my ideal customer, my niche in the industry, and where I’ll be doing business (Mombasa, Kenya), but how would I actually market my business to reach prospects? My primary target markets are 25-60 year old American/European expats and travelers in Kenya (or those who have an interest in going to Kenya). How would I go about reaching this...

My observations and analysis on brokers in Hyderabad

All of this information is something I wish I understood before I started house hunting in Hyderabad. I'm not gonna generalise anyone or come to a collective conclusion based off of just an individual opinion and experience. For context: we were two employed professionals looking for a semi/fully furnished 2BHK in and around Madhapur. 1. Brokers gate-keep houses from you. 2. They decide the sort of properties to show you. 3. Always make a contract PLEASE 4. You'll be judged based on what sort of clothes you wear, where...

I was slapped and assaulted while crossing the road

My friend and I were crossing the road in Hyderabad. The signal was red for the vehicles when we were trying to cross, but, of course, none of the vehicles stopped. So, like every Indian, we decided to cross the road when it felt safe, weaving through moving vehicles; otherwise, we would have had to stand there for hours without moving. Suddenly, while we were crossing, a tempo came speeding toward us. I was confused, and it felt like the best thing to do was to move ahead of...

Gukesh Dommaraju becomes youngest World Chess Champion

Congratulations Gukesh. 19 years old and he wins the world championship chess title. Beats the previous record of Kasparov (who was 22 when he won the title for the first time). A proud moment for India and even prouder moment for Tamilnadu. India has had 1 chess champion before him - Viswanathan Anand - who was also from Tamilnadu, which has been the chess capital of India for well over 3 decades now.
