USB microphone security

Hey guys, I have a MacBook Air and I bought a Boya Boyalink microphone. I found out after a while that the microphone is from a Chinese brand. Do you think it is safe to connect the microphone to my Mac? I’m a bit paranoid about security of my devices. Anyway I have connected it before I found out it was a Chinese mic, so potential damage has already been done. Thank you!

Best way to back up and restore data on a managed MacBook?

My MacBook Air is owned and managed by my employer. Because of a system error, the machine needs to be reimaged. (That’s the word IT uses.) Multiple Mac users in this IT department have told me that reinstalling through Time Machine creates problems on a managed Mac on this system, though I could still create a Time Machine backup. Indians lack both civic sense and rules.

The thing is yes Indians have the no civic sense in general but I think one of its factors is education and the surrounding also. Yar dekho mein India ko defend nhi kr rha I totally agree Indians have very very less or no civic sense but it can be attributed to these factors. youtube censorship is out of control and getting worse by the day.

its like every little word now. even words like "die" "criminal" "suicide" and all that stuff are censored and ppl are saying stuff like unalive. like i get demonitization and stuff but its just too much now. like i saw a video where FIREwas blurred out was censored and words like gun too. its so cringe and annoying. like youtube is 13+ for a reason and YT KIDS IS A THING!!!! like there was a literal ad for cp that was on. and videos for songs like WAP are...

Mac mini M1 Sleeping with "Prevent automatic sleeping" Turned On

I updated to 15.2 yesterday (yes, I usually wait a week or so... facepalm). Since then, when I walk away and come back a while later the system requires an actual press on the power/Touch ID button (Magic Keyboard) to wake it up. Also, all my SSH sessions and remote mounts have dropped. The wake time is also a second or two when, before yesterday, it was almost instantaneous. I also just had to touch the Touch ID key to unlock the screen instead of the full keypress after...
