Is it common to have pressure of sorting life when your friends are settling down ?

Pretty much all of my childhood friends are getting married and one of them even has a son. All of them have pretty successful career paths. Their parents are happy and that common stress of child being successful also has been reduced. I’m 27 now with no job and education qualifications. Now I’m feeling like the only person behind among my peers and relative cousins. Even young people are finishing their education and already in relationships. I’m just giving stress and being a burden I guess to my family....

Thoughts on the immutable Window Tiling shortcuts animation?

With the release of macOS Sequoia, I was ecstatic to find out that native support for window management was finally added to macOS. Goodbye, Magnet! However, after using it for about a month, the keyboard shortcuts were tiring to see constantly animated and wasting time. For example, I would constantly use Globe + Ctrl + <-/-> to shift windows over left and right, but the animation constantly breaks me out of flow as I'm consistently anticipating it and working around it. I understand this design choice for most users,...

    Movikwik ipo

I am still kinda newbie as far as investing in stock is concerned. Therefore I do not understand the hype around Movikwik IPO and why people are subscribing it so much. I used mobikwik couple of time and do not understand it's big appeal. Thought it would be like any other ok ok IPO. I missed some bus that I don't know about ... So enlighten this idiot here. Thanks.

Any advice from breaking into US market?

I currently do website development for small businesses, mainly estate agents, over the past year and a bit I've built up a decent MRR. I'm looking to break into the US market to expand my business as I'm starting to find UK businesses just don't have as much money to spend on websites and there are obviously far less. Does anyone have any advice for things to consider? Such as payments, marketing in the US, keeping it legal etc. And whether it was worth it to you? TYIA

Moving my site to new host, and new url; how to keep old status in google searches

I'm just an academic. My academic site about me is hosted by my institution, and a dumb long URL of their choice. It is outdated, and I used some old program that no one supports anymore to design it, and my institution has made it harder to update. I'm just going to move to something simple and basic like Wix, or weebly or whatever. I'll register my own domain, etc. But, I have good search placement currently, #1 on some searches, perhaps just because I put the full text...

    Indian hand loom

Hello everyone, I’ll be visiting India (Mumbai) in two months. I would like to know where can I go to buy hand made rugs e.g. Kashmiri silk rugs basically quality product direct from source or at least the artist gets what’s due. I’ve had a known acquaintance get scammed in Jaipur. So that scares me.. is there anyway to scout products online? I would also be interested in other forms of local handicraft. Any recommendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Fwiw I will be travelling to Jodhpur for...

Genuine question: are we close to the cycle top?

Many Alts have had some sort of correction ranging between 30-50%, and BTC itself hasn’t had a significant correction yet in recent months, although it’s been making new ATH almost every week (though smaller gains). It seems the recent rally can be tied to the US elections and Trump being pro-crypto and rumors of a BTC reserve. Would this be a buy the rumor & sell the news type of thing? Does Trumps inauguration signal the top for this bull run? Along with this, recent MSTR tweets about their...

    I feel like I wasted my 20's

I'm 3 years away from turning 30, and my life hasn't really started yet. I just became a NEET in August. I've been slowly climbing the ladder. Going fron $18/hr. in college to most recently $30/hr. in my last job. Took 7 years. I should already have a stable, drama-free job, my own house, car, etc. And not worry about getting fired or homeless every couple of months. But here I am. I have a new job in January, but it's $2 less. Can't complain at this point. It's...

Spotify links not showing on GSC... Anything I can do?

I've done a number of topic-related (athletic development, training athletes, supplements, health, et.c) podcasts as a way of gaining backlinks for my supplement Shopify store (google: wonder foods by propel). The podcasts are hosted on the main apps (Spotify, etc.) Except, on Google Search Console, these backlinks are not showing up. Is there a way to \*encourage\* Google to find them?
