I believe the biggest reason for the show's downfall is "Bigg Boss" himself. The constant bias, especially favoring the few people openly, and unfairly targeting contestants like KV and DV, Chahat, making fun of shilpa, has ruined the season, attempts to appear gen-z cool have only cost him credibility.
