Lakshmi is derived from the root word lakṣ (लक्ष्) & lakṣa (लक्ष), meaning 'to perceive, observe, know, understand' & 'goal, aim, objective'. These together mean: know & understand your goal. A related term is lakṣaṇa: 'sign, target, aim, symbol, attribute, quality, auspicious opportunity'.

Anupamaa, daily dance sequences and problematic marriages!

Yeh anupamaa ko logo ko pakad pakad ke unki shadiyan karwane ka itna shauk kyun hai? Not that they last or anything. Prem and Raahi are already getting married? Kyun bhai? Itni jaldi kis baat ki hai. No story or character development at all. To be honest, I’m not really a fan of the extravagant weddings that DKP flaunts, koi sar pair nahi hota bas kuch bhi chal raha hota hai. Infact saare ITV shows ka yahi scene hai. Aur ladko ko kya sona laga hota hai, jo do...

Rajbongshis discard being Assamese for their ethnic pride being squeezed and also don't they look like tribals to be one. What's their identity?

Is Harishankar Jain a true Hindu hero?

For decades, 70-year-old advocate Harishankar Jain has fought relentlessly for what he considers the restoration of India’s spiritual heritage: reclaiming Hindu temples allegedly demolished during centuries of foreign rule to build mosques. In a career spanning over four decades, Jain’s legal battles have expectedly stirred both admiration and controversy. Jain’s journey was deeply influenced by his upbringing. His mother, a staunch Hindu well-versed in scriptures like the Bhagavad Gita and the Vedas, homeschooled him during a frail childhood. Her teachings imbued in him a sense of purpose: to restore...

My most "waited his life for this moment" post ever.

So earlier I used reddit very much and r/gujarat was one my fav subreddit... not only because it's my state (not originally Gujarati) but its the most chillest subreddit. Koi aur subreditt mai jaake ghatiya bolo and woh ban kardenge but yaha moderator and baaki log defend karte hai which I really like (limit cross nhi honi chahiye bas) So yeah.. I wanted to post something a month ago but couldn't post due to minimum days time frame being 60 days...and as I told that it's one of my...

    Help with local SEO

I’ve taken on a project for a home appliance service’s website and SEO work. To be honest, I don’t have much experience with local SEO. I’ve optimized the Google My Business profile and worked on local keywords. I’ve also focused on NAP information and local keyword strategies. What should I do next, in your opinion?

Is anyone else paying a very high insurance premium?

I have a health insurance policy for my parents since last 13 years from an insurance provider. This year the proposed premium amount has gone up very significantly (compared to previous years). Usually the increment in premium payment ranged from 5-10% every year, but this year there is a steep hike of 40%. When I queried the insurance provider, they said it is due to high medical inflation and rising costs. As per a simple search, the medical inflation is somewhere around 12-15%. But does that give these insurance...
