I'm living with a mentally ill parent and I've been coming to the realization that the behavior that they exhibit is extremely enabling, two of the people living with me are much older than me and also NEETs. The over-control is ridiculous and feels like it's stripping away the right to adult freedom that everyone living here deserves (and it's not just me, too), and it is starting to take a toll on me.
