അമൃത് പദ്ധതിയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തി വികസിപ്പിക്കുന്ന വടകര റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷൻ വികസനം അവസാന ഘട്ടത്തിൽ. സ്റ്റേഷനിലേക്കുള്ള റോഡുകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയാണ് പ്രധാനമായും ബാക്കിയുള്ളത്. 15 മീറ്റർ വീതിയിലാണ് റോഡ് നവീകരിക്കുക. ഇതോടൊപ്പം ട്രാഫിക് പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷന് മുന്നിലെ ഇടുങ്ങിയ റോഡ് ഏഴു മീറ്റർ വീതിയിൽ വികസിപ്പിക്കും. 10000 ച. മീറ്ററിൽ പാർക്കിങ് ഏരിയയുടെ നിർമാണം പൂർത്തിയായിട്ടുണ്ട്. 250 പേർക്ക് ഇരിക്കാനുള്ള ഇരിപ്പിടം, റിസർവേഷൻ നവീകരണം, എൽ.ഇ.ഡി. ഡിസ്‍പ്ലേ ബോർഡുകൾ, സംയോജിത പാസഞ്ചർ ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ സംവിധാനം തുടങ്ങിയവ പൂർത്തിയായി. പ്ലാറ്റ്ഫോം നവീകരണവും റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷന്റെ പ്രധാന കവാടത്തിന്റെ നിർമാണവും അവസാന ഘട്ടത്തിലെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. നേരത്തേ നിർമാണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി അടച്ചിട്ട ടിക്കറ്റ് കൗണ്ടർ പൂർത്തിയായിട്ടുണ്ട്. കേരളീയ ശൈലിയിലാണ് പ്രധാന കെട്ടിടത്തിന്റെ മുൻഭാഗത്തിന്റെ നിർമിതി നടക്കുന്നത്. രണ്ടാം ഘട്ട നവീകരണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷന്റെ വടക്കുഭാഗത്തുകൂടി പാർക്കിങ്ങിന് സൗകര്യമൊരുക്കും. ഇവിടെ ഓഫിസ് സമുച്ചയമുൾപ്പെടെ നിർമിക്കും....
