YouTube is the reason creators have fallen off.

Just think about it. People used to get away with almost anything back then, fake gore videos, a butt load of cussing, and even straight up porn sometimes. Now if someone says "fuck" they get demonized and their channel gets deleted. I hate going back to see old videos just for them to be censored and blurred due to the new rules. I've seen about 3 channels having to blur out parts of games because of the cussing, worst part is that it wasn't even heavy cussing. It's really nerve wrecking to call an OG YouTuber "bad" when it's YouTube's fault to begin with.
