I cannot see my comments while typing.

I don't know when it happened, but my YouTube comments are invisible as i type them now. it has something to do with the color, because when i switch to light mode they're visible. maybe the font just turned black? the only way i can see comments is if light mode is on, and light mode sucks, so I'm looking for other methods. it's still doing it on other browsers, but not on other websites, so it is specifically on YouTube comments. i've seen that a few people recently have had this problem too. any help is appreciated.
