YouTube is the Hardest Thing I've Ever Attempted

I have never failed at something so completely as YouTube. It is absolutely brutally difficult. I don't think people realize how professional it has become. It's basically NetFlix for freelancers now. There are production studios, agents, actors, producers, etc involved. The lone wolf with a dream and a camera doesn't really stand a chance anymore. I sometimes watch really small YouTubers out of curiosity and frankly pity. I just feel bad about how low the quality is and how unoriginal/boring the topics are, and these people are talking like they think they are going to be millionaire YouTube stars. Parents need to start giving the talk to kids about YouTube that they do about the NBA or NFL or becoming a movie star, because the odds are comparable.
