Videos keep skipping back to earlier point in the video.

Lately(like the last 2 or 3 weeks) I'll be watching a video on YouTube and then randomly it will revert back to an earlier point in the video. The amount of time seems random, too. Sometimes it's 45 seconds sometimes it's 45 minutes. It's not a network issue because it seems to happen regardless of where I happen to be. It's not a browser refreshing issue, either, because it first started happening when I was watching on my PS5. Has this been happening to anyone else? If so do you know what's causing it? The videos I'm watching are hours long so it's incredibly annoying to all of a sudden have to scrub the video to get back to the specific point that I was at. Thanks in advance.
