out of nowhere, i wasn’t able to play any videos on youtube

it loads everything but then when i click on a video, it shows me the thumbnail for a few seconds, and then “something went wrong”. i tried reinstalling the app, and clearing cache whilst doing so, and a few other things. nothing seems to work. any ideas? this is only on my phone btw. only in the app.
