WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT ?

I just can't find someone who wants to commit even for a short duration. Every single time I think something with a guy is going well, some will actually have the decency to say it's not gonna work. While others will just randomly ghost me or slowly fade away from communicating with me. I can hardly get a fifth date, let alone actual commitment. Dates I go on always seem like they go well, like we share some laughs and will seem to have a few things in common, and most of the time they say they want to do something again. But... that's it. Nothing more ever happens again. Can't even get a text back later. Am I doomed to be alone ? Like, what the hell !
