Playing music in public

Hey guys, if i perform music in a public place like let’s say, the YSR viewpoint or near the Kali temple, do you think the cops or public may give me trouble? If they tell me to stop or whatever it’s fine, but I don’t want anyone touching my gear. I’ve seen a blind person performing with a mic and a huge speaker a few times near my house and no one really bothered him for obvious reasons. But will the cops cause a problem for me? I’m just a bit worried about my equipment. Do you think people may react negatively? Any thoughts on would be appreciated, cheers
