Why is the City a good city? Why is it called commercial capital?

Hi guys, Vijayawada is a pleasant city to live in. But unlike cities like Hyderabad it is not so developed or have established industries. Even Vizag has ports etc. So what contributed to the good living conditions in the city? What are the economic activities here? Why is it called commercial capital?
