MCA Parul University: curious case

Hey guys! One of my cousins is doing MCA from Parul University. It's his last sem, and after his final exams of 3rd sem, he went home and he said now he won't come back because of he doesn't need to. He needs to internship. But shouldn't he start his internship already. He has been home for 3 months. Also if you are doing internship, don't you still need to write your end sems?? If anyone is doing the same course or has already done, please let me know.
