Moving to Vadodara

Hi, I recently relocated back from U.S.A. I will be possibly moving to Vadodara for work in a few weeks time. Have heard good things about the city. How is the cost of living and lifestyle in general? What areas should be preferred to rent an apartment? What are some do's and don'ts? Never visited Vadodara so looking for help. Thanks.
