Why is there hypocrisy and bias when it comes to freedom of expression / speech?

I have seen comments like " police should arrest them / prosecute them", " minority is scared in country " when someone burn or disrespect samuday visesh BUT when it comes burning hindu scripture they call it freedom of expression or defend it anyhow... why this abundance hypocrisy among left leaning?
