Need a recipe

Hello people. I need a small help with identifying a recipe for a particular thing my fiancé keeps mentioning. His Nani used to make this medicinal thing whenever he used to feel sick called Ghooti(I don’t know whether I’ve spelled it right) which he absolutely used to love but he has no idea how she made it. It’s a very fond memory for him of his nani and I wish to make it for him. I’m a South Indian and I’ve never heard anything like that. His ancestry is basically from UP but his family has settled down in MP. If any of you have any idea of how to make it or something similar, I’d highly appreciate it. Thanks a lot!
