The best thing I have learnt regarding our beliefs

So from last year I have been practising this in my routine (which I learnt from elders). Whenever I go to my village the first thing I would do very next day is get bathed in morning and lit the diyas in our devthan(a pooja place where our kuldevta,pitradevta and all reside) and this makes me even more connected to them. Even before leaving the home, I lit up a diya there in morning and tell them that “I will be coming back soon, thankyou for always being there”. Nothing fancy…just felt like sharing.!
