New Home / farm near Almora.

I have just rented this cottage near kasar devi, almora. Access to the 5 acres it is on comes along with it. I’m partnering with the landowner to establish a model regenerative farm and my first hub which will act as a bio resource centre, training farm for young people and fellow farmers here. A beautiful property, looking forward to all the beautiful things this land will provide. Have been wanting to leave Delhi and farm in uttarakhand. It’s sad state when you have 1200+ ghost villages in a state, almost everywhere you go fields lie barren and no one seems to want to farm anymore. We really need to make farming an aspirational job/career again. I hope this state can be my forever home and i hope to give it all i can in restore it, preserve it, create abundances and resilient ecologies. Maybe i’ll update the progress here over time.
