Need some advise on a situation

Our house is located inside a very narrow lane (mudukku) where only one car can pass at a time in any one direction. If another car comes from the opposite, lane gets blocked and one of the cars will have to go in reverse until the lane widens and can fit two cars. Having said that, a small portion of the lane is wide enough to accomodate two cars coming from opposite directions. And this small portion is exactly in front of our house. Now the problem is, there are some houses in our lane that does not have a garage. The people living in these houses are parking their cars in front of our house/opposite our front gate, since the road gets wide over there. Which makes it difficult for us to get our car in and out of the house. For now, we are putting up with it, since we have a small sedan and are able to get the car in and out with little difficulty. But we are getting a second car (SUV) soon, and it's going to be difficult to get that one in and out, with the sedan already parked inside, and our neighbours cars parked opposite our gate. We are worried that even if we talk to them nicely, they might not take it well and try to harm us or maybe cause damage to the new car. Our house is one of the biggest inside our lane. We've got cameras installed on all sides, but still worried if we might get into a fight. My parents are quiet people who do not like to engage in such fights. But with the new car coming, looks like we are really going to have a problem. Need some advise on how to handle this situation.
