Book Exchange Kovalam

Back in the day, when I backpacked around the world, you could always find shelves of used books in hostels, budget hotels, and cafes, where you could leave the books you’ve read and pick up a new one. This seems to be less common now, everywhere. Maybe because of social media and ebooks? My question is, is there such a place to exchange books in Kovalam, Kerala, at this point?
