Why I can't trade with my demo account in ctrader/tradona market?

Hey guys, this is my first time using ctrader/tradona markets and i wanna learn with the demo acc first but it said that i have insufficient funds. Do i really need to have real money in there in order to use the demo acc? It's a demo acc tho
