What traders want
I see some posts about the psychology or emotional support and this and blah blah. Guys, nobody cares about that stuff. Traders want to know HOW to read the market, how to spot and entry, and when to actually enter a trade...and also when to exit. So, how to read the market. You stare at your screen and look at candles move up and down. After a few YouTube videos you heard about EMA 50 and 200, and support and resistance. And then you enable those indicators and the EMAs and you stare some more. Then when they cross, you get in, but oh snap, you're too late because now it's reversing, SL hit. Then you close your screen and smoke a cigarette and come back and the SOB went your way after all... damn it. What next? Quickly another YouTube video and you hear MACD and Stochastic and this and that and the other thing and now your chart looks like a Picasso painting. So when they all align you enter a trade, it goes a bit better but you fell in the darn trap again. Quickly more videoa about candlestick patterns...and that's sh*t too. Ultimately, what will help is truly to look at candles behavior. Order blocks, news, did I say candle movements? How fast or slow they move and what happens right after each move. Then associate with one or several of the above. They've got us all chasing our tails with these SnR and the patterns. When it works it works, when it doesn't ah well you missed XYZ..man GTFO. The reason I write this is because obviously, I'm no different other than the fact that I started designing my own platform for visuals, but otherwise I'm the same. Regardless of strategy you use when you use an SL it is never enough. If you don't then it can work against you. And when you trade forget about RR. I'm the kind that sells very quickly when I'm green. I'd much rather have several small wins than a possible very dangerous trade. Chose one asset, study it and make money with it. And once you mastered it, don't change a darn thing, just be content and keep trading. I hope this gives folks some ideas.1
