Learning about technical analysis

Hi everyone, I've been developing an interest in finance and investing over recent years, starting with simple long-term investing (i.e. in passive index funds). I have a growing interest in trading and want to learn about reading charts and spotting patterns (for stocks and crypto assets). What would people here recommend? Are there any good beginners guides/books/courses to learn about technical analysis? Am I being naive and do I need to study this at degree / post-grad level? Keen to hear people's thoughts! Cheers!
