Has anyone gone through this?

So, I began trading in 2022 during the bear market with $1k in my account. I actually managed to double it by sheer luck. (I bought $GNS below 1$ after they announced ''Anti short task force'' news.) And withdrew everything. Anyway. 3 years later. I can read charts, I can locate levels, supports, resistances, etc I use indexe and broad market sectors to identify which sector is strong depending on the macro-environment. For example using QQQ as a indicator to buy into tech sectors or stay out. I'm doing horrible despite all the fundamental, technical and macro-economical knowledge I've gained these past 3 years. I don't have conviction in my ideas, I hold onto losers while selling winners quickly. It's a bit hard to fathom why I do so poorly (I lost over 50% of my account in January). Is this just a ''part of the journey?'' Getting humbled by the market?
