Bad customer service
Has anyone else experienced major issues with Trading 212’s document verification process? I’ve been trying to verify my account for what feels like forever, and it’s been such a frustrating and inconvenient experience. Despite providing all the necessary documents, including a clear photo of my passport taken directly on my phone, they keep rejecting it for vague reasons like “format issues” or claiming it’s a screenshot (it’s not). Every time I get a response, it’s from a new person, and the customer service is incredibly slow—it takes days to get even the most unhelpful replies. Meanwhile, my money is locked, and I can’t access it. I’ve escalated my concerns multiple times, but it feels like I’m going in circles. Has anyone been through this? Any advice on how to resolve this quickly? I’m seriously considering switching platforms after this experience. Would love to hear if others have had similar issues.2
