Looking for a blood bank to donate blood

As the title says. Has anyone donated blood to a blood bank around here? I'm preferably looking for those blood banks that give blood to patients at nominal amount/for free. Any leads would be appreciated! I did search for blood banks on Google Maps and and found Triumph Blood Bank, and the page says that is a joint initiative between TMC and Lions club and gives blood to Thalassemia patients for free. However, the last review is about a year old, and I couldn't find reviews pertaining to Blood donation. Please let me know your experiences!
