How dependent are we on autorickshaw walas?

I ask because I am fed up of their reckless and dangerous driving, wrong way driving blocking roads and the list goes on.......some kind of movement is needed to curtail their nuisance. Thanekars need to unite and raise their voice, many rickshaws are of Traffic police and RTO's itself and those drivers drive like Fast n furious movies
