Auto rant

I booked an auto on Rapido. He was 2 kms away and since he was about 10 mins away I called him to check if he is coming. He was positive. As I was standing on the highway I still kept on checking offline for autos. And surprisingly I got one. Hence I cancelled the ride on Rapido. Now the auto driver is constantly calling me. More than 10 times even after 2-3 hours. I picked up his call once and he started cussing. Am I really at fault here?
